I call Hailsham, a small but blossoming town in the south east of England, home. But it wouldn’t be home without my partner, our rapidly growing son and adorable furry feline companion.
With 30 years of administrative knowledge and an unwavering passion for supporting independent businesses, I had all the expertise necessary to set up my own business. The icing on the cake is doing something I love while actually getting paid for it!

I’ve had some great professional experiences throughout my career so far!
I started as a Receptionist for a few Estate Agency firms, then moved into the Legal Secretary world where I worked in their Property, Debt Recovery, Matrimonial and Criminal departments.
I’ve worked for Sussex Police for 20 years. For the first 12, I’ve made a real difference by typing and transcribing vital materials such as interviews between Detainees & Investigating Officers, Child Protection testimonies from children’s 999 calls, Witness Statements and much more. All to ensure justice is served!
I then worked as a Force Duty Planner in Duties & Resourcing, responsibly allocating Police Officers to essential operations throughout the area. From big events such as Lewes Bonfire, Eastbourne Airbourne and Brighton Pride to high-stake incidents like murder investigations or major incidents (scene guard, Shoreham Air Crash, Platinum Jubilee celebrations, etc.). No matter what unexpected challenges came my way, it was always an exciting adventure!
I’ve had an incredible journey working at Sussex Police. My organisational skills were highly praised after I worked the Shoreham Air Crash (Operation Bowdell) back in 2015. Not only that, but I was further recognised with a professional badges during 2020’s Coronavirus pandemic and and a Commemorative coin for 2022’s Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. What great achievements to be proud of!!
In addition to full-time roles, I was also serving as part-time Secretary to Hailsham & District Chamber of Commerce: planning events, managing records/minutes taking duties plus building their very own CRM.
I am also the Business & Shopping Editor role in two local newspapers – Hailsham News and Bexhill News. Working on something like that sounds exhausting but it’s all worth it because at heart – nothing beats being able to shout about amazing independent businesses out there on social media channels.
