I’m your friendly Virtual Assistant.
I’ve had almost 30 years’ experience in admin roles, working in both government roles in Sussex Police and private firms like Solicitors and Estate Agents, I’ve had quite a bit of experience in Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Email clients such as Microsoft Outlook and Gmail.
That’s just the basics. Of course, I have more experience, including typing simple documents, reports, agendas, Witness Statements, audio typing interviews (specifically complex multiple-person interviews), Child Protection interviews, meetings, post mortems, and inquests, to name but a few.
I’ve also had a great deal of organising experience in large scale logistical problems in my role as Duty Planner. Key elements of this role are constant prioritisation, assessing and problem-solving – as nothing ever stays the same.
After having finished working for Sussex Police in May 2022, I took on a management position outside of the organisation. This allowed me to focus on more on my own skills and so I decided to put all my experience to good use and help small businesses and start-ups to offer assistance to improve the administration areas of their business which will allow them to focus on the area of their own business they excel at.
